If you are in need, Derek has a strategic partner who specializes in being your CFO, for a fraction of the cost, in this area for small govcons.
What you need to know:
-Fee- $500/month done for you services
2) GovCon Bookkeeping
Have you won a contract and need an accountant to do your bookkeeping for you? Derek has partnered with a qualified accountant that focuses on small govcons that would be happy to assist you.
What you need to know:
-Fee- TBD, typically 3-5 hours per month (for new govcons)
-For low number of transactions, we can teach you to do your own bookkeeping
-If you plan to use a bookkeeping service, it's important to account for the cost in your bids.
3) GovCon Cybersecurity Training (NIST & CMMC)
Derek has partnered with Mr. Jacob Hill who is on the forefront of the cybersecurity requirements for small govcons in federal contracting. I highly recommend you learn about the existing NIST requirements and CMMC requirements.
Jacob Hill has two fantastic trainings that can be purchased at the link below:
-Purchase the Awareness Training: $150
-Purchase the in-depth training Overview: $250

4) GovCon Financing (Factoring)
Derek is qualified to act as a broker with factoring lenders to finance your dealers and he has setup arrangements with several lenders.
What you need to know:
-Factoring is the process of a lender buying your invoice (government award from you) for a fee.
-Fee- 2-3% per month, each month, until repaid
-Ideal for service contracts over $100K
-Ideal for supply contracts over $250K
*Factoring is not ideal for contracts under $100K in general. You should look into credit cards, seller financing terms, or private funding sources for deals under $100K.
**If you intend to use factoring financing, it's important to build the cost of money (approx 2-3% fee per invoice) into your bid.
5) GovCon Proposal Writing
Are you looking for a credible expert to work your federal govcon proposals with you? In Derek's course/community, he teaches you how to do it yourself. If, however, you have reasons for wanting to work with a proposal writer, we do have a fantastic partner who is happy to collaborate with you on your proposal.
What you need to know:
Fee- $100/hour, typically minimum of 10 hours
6) GovCon BD/Capture Management Services
If you are starting a growth stage and want to scale by adding business development services to your team, Derek has a partnership with a company that specializes in providing capture and BD services who can act on behalf of your company without having to hire a new employee under your business.
What you should know:
Fee- TBD
*You should only pursue this if you have the funds, can justify the expense, and have already done it on your own for at least 6-12 months. As the business owner, it's crucial that you understand this level of details and that you don't try to outsource activities as a way of not having to learn it.
